The student council EMT represents the interests of the student body in the Department of Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Technical Journalism at Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg. The members of the student council are students from the three disciplines of Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Technical Journalism. They work voluntarily for the interests of the student body - for example in case of problems with lecturers, lectures and examinations.

The student council hosts the SwiSo (Swinging Sofa) - the monthly party of the EMT department during the lecture period. All information can be found on the SwiSo posters or on the Facebook profile of the Fachschaft EMT.
