Summer Vacation Course for Students in Grades 5–7

Together, they experiment, test, and develop: Among other things, the participants make their own bubble tea and energy bars, learning in the process how the technical processes behind everyday products work. The focus is not only on creativity and trial and error, but also on understanding the underlying processes. How are the little pearls in bubble tea made? How can their size be adjusted? And how do you develop a snack with the perfect texture and the desired flavor?

Through hands-on tinkering and experimentation, the students playfully discover a technical field that shapes many aspects of our daily lives. No prior knowledge is required—what’s needed above all is curiosity, creativity, and a love of experimentation.

The course invites students to experience technology in a hands-on way and to discover a summer full of ideas, experiments, and surprising results.
