Create your own retro game!
Oct. 19–22, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. — for female students in 8th grade and above
Do you love games and want to create one yourself? Then become a game designer and develop your own retro game!
In this holiday course, you can let your creativity run wild: You will come up with your own game ideas, design characters and worlds, and explore what makes a game exciting and fun to play. You will learn the basics of game design and turn your ideas into your very own game, step by step.
No prior knowledge is needed. Together, you will experiment, develop your ideas and discover how a first concept can become a real game.

Getting Creative with Code & Electronics
Oct. 27–30, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. — for girls in grades 5 through 7
Do you want to explore what you can create with technology? Get creative and develop your own little project!
In this holiday course, you will learn how to program microcontrollers and build your own electronic circuits. Step by step, you will create small projects that you program, test and bring to life. You will also learn how to solder electronic components and connect them together.
The best part: No prior knowledge is needed! You can simply get started, experiment and develop your own ideas. Along the way, you will discover just how much creativity can go into programming and electronics and how many possibilities a small microcontroller can offer.
