Programme

The Spring School offers a variety of topics: Every day there is a professional impulse on the planned objective of the day as well as a method training with personal supervision. There is also plenty of time for research and individual or team work. In between, you will regularly present your results and progress and receive personal feedback from the trainers and the group.

Please note that the Spring School will be held in German!

Secure your spot now!

  • You do not need to have your own business idea to participate in the Start-up Spring School!
  • If you already have your own business idea and would like to work on it, simply contact us in advance.

Day 1: Brainstorming and problem definition with Value Proposition Canvas

You get to know each other in the introductory round and report on your personal motivation. You will also present your ideas and get together in teams.

Day 2: Problem validation with problem interviews

We deal with the description and definition of the problem. Based on this problem analysis, you use interviews to obtain direct feedback from the user or potential customer.

Day 3: Defining solutions and developing prototypes

After the preparatory work of the first few days, the third day is all about developing solutions and business models using the Lean Canvas. The first prototypes and MVPs are also developed.

Day 4: Prototype development and experiments

In addition to an impulse on the topic of impact measurement, the fourth day will focus on working on the competition analysis. The groups will also present their first prototypes.

Day 5: Start-up storytelling, pitch training & final presentation

After you have developed a business concept in the first few days, the final task is to present it in the best possible way. For this purpose, you will receive impulses from us on the topic of storytelling and how a good pitch works.

After a pitch training session, all teams present their business concepts in a final presentation and receive personal feedback from trainers and the group.

Made it!

After an informative, exciting and perhaps also exhausting 5 days of work at the Start-up Spring School, you will not only have gained important business experience, but will of course also receive a certificate for your participation in this professional development.

The Start-up Spring School is a joint offer by Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg (represented by Start-up-Manufaktur) and the University of Bonn (Transfer Center enaCom). All members of the two universities can register for the free offer (students, employees, alumni).

Please note that registration for the Start-up Spring School means participation in all five workshop days.
