Studying internationally in the Department of Management Sciences
International experience and intercultural skills are important to you? Then you've come to the right place. We offer you a wide range of opportunities to make your studies international, for example by learning foreign languages or integrating a study abroad or internship into your degree programme. We will support you at every stage of your degree programme.
International Business
The Bachelor's degree programme in International Business is offered entirely in English and you will learn another foreign language during your studies (for example Spanish, French or Chinese). This opens up many career paths for you at home and internationally.
Semester abroad and mobility window
We offer you various opportunities to gain experience abroad during your studies. The Business Management, International Business and Business Psychology degree programmes include an extended mobility window (5th - 7th semester). The mobility window allows you to integrate one or more study abroad semesters - for example at one of our numerous partner universities worldwide - into your studies.

Internship abroad
You can gain international practical experience during an internship in a company/institution abroad and thus also get to know a potential employer abroad and improve your intercultural skills.

Foreign languages
The H-BRS language centre offers numerous language courses, which you can use to prepare for an internship abroad and study abroad semesters, for example. As part of the Business Management and Business Psychology degree programme, it is compulsory to take a foreign business language. Students of the degree programme International Business learn a second foreign language.

Summer School
The department offers a summer school, which is organised online with various partner universities and guest lecturers from abroad. As part of the Summer School, you can take part in online lectures and get to know students from other countries. Participation is free of charge.
Double degree programmes with partner universities
In cooperation with an Australian partner university, it is currently possible to obtain a Bachelor's degree from the Australian university after two semesters of study. The department is endeavouring to offer further double degree programmes with partner universities.
