The English-language bachelor’s degree programme in International Business (BSc) at the H-BRS offers you a solid foundation for your international management career. The programme covers international business management methods and in-depth knowledge of financial markets, international trade and globalisation.

The curriculum covers international business management methods and in-depth knowledge of financial markets, international trade and globalisation. The English-language programme with an additional language as a compulsory subject offers you an excellent preparation for working in multi-cultural teams. The subjects in the bachelor’s degree programme in International Business (BSc) are taught for one semester in alternation at the Sankt Augustin and Rheinbach campuses.

The Department of Management Sciences cooperates with 33 universities in 20 countries. Students can complete up to three semesters at one of our partner universities.

Graduates of the programme work in an international environment in the field of logistics, personnel management, consulting, controlling and management, finance, business informatics, auditing and marketing (B2B, B2C). Experts in international management are in demand worldwide, and accordingly, career and salary prospects are excellent.

The subjects in the degree programme International Business (BSc) are taught at the Sankt Augustin and Rheinbach Campuses. Both locations are excellently equipped with a library, modern seminar rooms, laboratories​ and easy to reach by public transport from Cologne, Bonn, Düsseldorf and Koblenz.

Prerequisites: 
Students must provide evidence of one of the following: “Allgemeine Hochschulreife (Abitur)” or “Fachhochschulreife” school-leaving certificate; a professional qualification or prior education regarded as being of equivalent value; prospective students from other countries must provide evidence of the English language skills required for study, which correspond to at least level B2+ of the “Common European Framework of Reference”. There are a limited number of standardised language tests that are accepted by the H-BRS as part of the admission procedure. The results required in the individual tests are listed in a table.
