Would you like to define the impact you can create with your research? Do you want to communicate it in a way that it sticks to people, even outside of science? In this workshop you will get to know the key elements of the storytelling method and put them into practice to convey your own scientific ideas. With a view to the Sustainable Development Goals you will also think about the potential areas of impact you can create with your own research.

How to apply

Admission is free and no previous knowledge is required. The workshop is open to all PhDs, Postdocs and advanced master’s students of all disciplines, as well as early-career researchers and academic staff.

No prior knowledge or experience in the areas of entrepreneurship, startups or other business ventures is necessary. A genuine interest in these topics is sufficient!

Falling Walls is the unique global hub connecting science, business, and society. The Young Entrepreneurs in Science (YES) initiative aims to inspire doctoral students and postdocs to think and act entrepreneurially by offering further education. Together, we focus on introducing scientists to the topic of entrepreneurship.
The Start-up-Manufaktur hosts YES workshops several times a year.
