AI & Autonomous Systems Seminar with a Visiting Talk from Singapore
We were pleased to host guest speaker Smitha Sheshadri (PhD candidate in Computer Science at Singapore Management University, advised by Prof. Kotaro Hara) in our Artificial Intelligence and Autonomous Systems Seminar.
In her talk, “Humans in the Loop: Positioning, Tracking, and Understanding User Experience in Indoor Interactive Agents,” she shared research at the intersection of Human–Computer Interaction and ubiquitous computing, focusing on conversational interaction for indoor positioning and tracking as well as evaluating user experience in real-world deployments.
The session sparked lively discussions, new perspectives for our MAS students, and promising ideas for future collaboration.
