Welcome first semester at the Department of Engineering and Communication (IWK)

On September 14, 2026, we’ll welcome you as first-year students to the department! At 9:00 a.m., there will be a central welcome event for ALL bachelor’s degree programs in the Audimax (Lecture Hall 1). Following that, separate information sessions for each degree program will begin, as well as the preparatory courses in mathematics.

You'll learn how your program is organized, we'll show you the locations where your classes will be held, and you'll get to know your fellow students. In addition, the student council will introduce itself and organize a lunch break program for you.
