Practical project Bachelor Cyber Security & Privacy
A practical project lasting 10 to 12 weeks is integrated into every Bachelor's degree programme at the Department of Computer Science. It usually begins immediately after the lecture period of the fifth semester.
The practical project is designed to strengthen the link between study and professional practice. Students should have the opportunity to test the knowledge and skills they have acquired during their studies in the real world of work by means of suitable tasks and a suitably selected practical project position. The practical project should be completed in companies, research institutions or public authorities with a relevant connection to IT security - preferably also abroad.
In the winter semester, an introductory event for the practical project takes place (the date will be announced in good time).
