Extended opening hours during exam time
For 3 weekends before the date of the first examination and throughout the examination period, the university will be staying open for students on Saturdays until 22:00 and on Sundays from 10:00 am to 18:00.

The dining hall and café in Sankt Augustin are run by the Studierendenwerk Bonn.

Druckpunkt

Non-Smoking Campus
H-BRS Sankt Augustin is a non-smoking campus. Smoking is only allowed in selected smoking areas outside the buildings.
How to get there
The Sankt Augustin Campus is easy to reach by public transport as well as by car or bicycle. You can reach the campus quickly by car or train not only from Cologne or Bonn, but also from Frankfurt (e.g. by ICE via Siegburg).
Research
The campus is home to several research institutes such as the Institute of Safety and Security Research (ISF), the Institute for Technology, Renewables and Energy-efficient Engineering (TREE) and the Institute of Visual Computing (IVC). The International Centre for Sustainable Development (IZNE) in Sankt Augustin works on topics such as sustainable technologies, social security and health as well as responsible economic activities.
University buildings in the vicinity of the campus
Building F: Center for Science and Technology Transfer
The Center for Science and Technology Transfer (ZWT) of H-BRS is the central service and contact point of the university for scientists in the field of applied research. In the Graduate Institute (GI), PhD students of the H-BRS are accompanied on their way to the doctorate.
Building K: H-BRS in Technopark Sankt Augustin
In the rooms of the Technopark Sankt Augustin courses and events of the Language Centre (room K 202) and the Master's programme in Social Protection (room K 204) take place. In addition, the Institute for Media Research and Development (IMEA) and the Institute for Safety and Security Research (ISF) are located there. The Technopark is within walking distance of Sankt Augustin Campus (about nine minutes from Grantham-Allee 20). Opening hours: weekdays 08:00 - 18:00.

The bachelor degree programme Sustainable Social Policy (BA) takes place at Sankt Augustin Campus, in the Techno-Park (building K) as well as on the premises of the Steyler Mission (building S, Arnold-Janssen-Straße).
