Workshop: How to Develop a Research Proposal

A key part of your application is a good Research Proposal (Exposé) - it is the basis for a successful doctorate. What belongs in a good research proposal? Which structure should be followed? What is the state of the art? How do you formulate central research questions? How do you describe detailed methodology for conducting the research and give a statement on anticipated outcomes and/or benefits? And how do you outline a realistic time and project plan?
All these questions are answered in the workshop "How to preapare a Research Proposal". This module, a classic at the Graduate Institute of the H-BRS, should be attended primarily by those who are thinking of applying for a scholarship but is also helpful for any kind of application.
There will be a 1 hour lunch break from 12:30 to 1:30.
Target group: The workshop is open to memebers of H-BRS Graduate institute as well as members of Promotionskolleg NRW from othe Universities of Applied Science in NRW.
Hybrid Format: We will hold the workshop on campus. Additionally, it will be possible to log in via webex. Please indicate your preference (online/on campus) when applying.
