Wir freuen uns, Sie zur Antrittsvorlesung von Prof. Dr. Janina Loh mit dem fesselnden Thema "Rad ab, Schraube locker? Zu einer kritischen Technikethik im Sozialen" einzuladen. Prof. Dr. Janina Loh wird im Rahmen der Honorarprofessur am Zentrum für Ethik und Verantwortung einen einzigartigen Blick auf die Verbindung zwischen Technologie und sozialen Dynamiken werfen. Die Antrittsvorlesung findet am 25.04.2024 um 16:30 Uhr in der Bibliothek Sankt Augustin statt.

Delegation trips to partner universities in Brazil and Tanzania as part of the TOFI project
As part of the DAAD-funded TOFI project (Take-Off4Internationalisation), two delegation trips to partner universities took place at the beginning of this year. From 19-23 February 2024, a seven-member delegation visited the Federal University of Technology - Paraná (UTFPR) in Brazil and from 4-9 March 2024, a ten-member delegation travelled to the Institute of Finance Management (IFM) in Tanzania. The delegations were led by Prof. Dr Jürgen Bode, Vice President for Internationalisation and Diversity.

Dr Alexander Marquardt presents research studies at the IEEE VR 2024
The IEEE Conference on Virtual Reality and 3D User Interfaces (IEEE VR) is the leading international event for the presentation of research results in the fields of virtual, augmented and mixed reality (VR/AR/MR) and took place this year in Orlando, Florida/USA. Postdoctoral researcher Dr Alexander Marquardt from H-BRS was able to present the results of his research on the topic of "Selection Performance and Reliability of Eye and Head Gaze Tracking Under Varying Light Conditions".
