Composition and Term of the Examination Boards
The Department of Management Sciences as an organisational unit of the Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg has two locations (Rheinbach Campus and Sankt Augustin Campus). Each location has its own examination board, which consists of the following six persons according to the respective examination regulations:
- a chairperson, a deputy chairperson and one more member from the ranks of the professors
- one member from the ranks of the teachers for special tasks or from the ranks of the research associates
- one member from the ranks of the technical and administrative staff and
- one member from the ranks of the students.
The term of office for the elected professors, the teachers for special tasks, the research and teaching staff with an academic degree as well as for the technical and administrative staff is two years, the term of office for the student member is one year.

2) Examination information
Eligibility and registration for module examinations
The requirements for sitting module examinations are set out in the relevant Bachelor’s and Master’s examination regulations.

Registration for examinations takes place via Apollo during the registration periods specified in the departmental timetable.

You can also check via Apollo whether you have been successfully admitted to a module examination. It is your responsibility to check whether you have been admitted to an examination. If you notice any discrepancies, please contact the Examinations Service immediately.

Withdrawal from and cancellation of module examinations
Students may withdraw from module examinations up to seven days before the scheduled examination date without this affecting the number of attempts they are allowed. Further details are set out in the examination regulations.

If you are unable to sit an examination due to illness, you must submit a medical certificate without delay. You can find further information on the Examination Service website.
Forms for examination-related matters
Permitted aids in examinations
If unauthorised aids (see the examination schedule!) are used during a written examination, this is generally regarded as an attempt at cheating under the Bachelor’s and Master’s examination regulations, and the examination will be marked as a fail.
Examination Schedule
The examination timetables, containing general information regarding dates and examination times, will be published approximately two months before the examination period on the ‘Latest News’ page of the department’s website for the Sankt Augustin campus, as well as on the noticeboard in the department.
