Applied, environmental and clinical microbiology, microbial genetics and genomics

 

Methods:

PCR (qRT-PCR, 16SrRNA-PCR, inverse PCR, long-range PCR), multilocus sequence typing, STR typing, next generation sequencing (Illumina Miseq), whole genome mapping (Optical Mapping, Argus, Opgen), DNA fragment analysis (Tape Station, Agilent), genome analysis, bioinformatics (CLC Genomics and Geneious), proteomics, flow cytometry, fluorescence microscopy, fluorescence in situ hybridization
