Admission requirements for Technology and Innovation Communication

Anyone with a first professionally qualifying university degree in journalism, technical journalism, journalism, media or communication science, public relations or marketing can enrol on the Master's degree programme in Technology and Innovation Communication (M.Sc.). The overall grade of the successful university degree must be at least 2.5.

In addition, at least 210 credit points according to the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS) must have been achieved in the completed degree programme. If applicants only have 180 credit points after a six-semester degree programme, they can make up the missing 30 credit points by working for at least six months (e.g. internship, traineeship or trainee) in journalism, media, journalism, public relations or marketing/advertising before enrolling in the TIK Master's programme.

The programme starts in the summer semester. Applications are possible until 15 March, enrolment is possible until the end of March, in justified exceptional cases until 30 April.
