Fire Prevention Officer
Fire safety includes all measures that prevent the emergence of a fire and the proliferation of fire and smoke and enable the rescue of humans and animals and effective fire-fighting operations in the event of a conflagration.
The Fire Safety Commissioner of H-BRS advises and supports the employer on all aspects of fire safety
The most important tasks include:
- supporting the employer in meetings with the fire protection authorities and fire brigade, the fire insurance providers, the employers' liability insurance association, and the industrial inspectorates etc.,
- advising on the equipping of work stations with fire extinguishing equipment and choice of extinguishing agents,
- training employees in handling fire extinguishers and employees with special duties in the event of a fire (fire protection assistants),
- offering advisory opinions on investment decisions that have an impact on the interests of fire safety on the site,
- regular fire safety inspections and evacuation exercises.
