Ringvorlesung Digitalisierung in Wirtschaft und Gesellschaft 5. Juni 23
Am 5.6.23 findet von 16.30 Uhr bis 17.30 Uhr (Raum E 146, Campus Sankt Augustin) die zweite Veranstaltung der Ringvorlesung Digitalisierung in Wirtschaft und Gesellschaft im Sommersemester 23 statt. Frau Dr. Christina Pakusch wird über das Thema "Facilitating Innovation - Trend Research and Innovating@DPDHL referieren.

Barbara Hillen until 2027 Central Equal Opportunities Commissioner
Dr. Barbara Hillen has been appointed Central Equal Opportunity Commissioner at H-BRS for a further four years until the end of May 2027. University President Hartmut Ihne now presented her with the certificate of appointment.

NEiS Cooking Tutorial 2023: Engineering meets Commercial Kitchen
The first NEiS cooking tutorial for students at H-BRS featured a three-course meal made from sustainable ingredients. It was organized by students from the Department of Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Technical Journalism.

In her Master's thesis at the H-BRS in the Master Visual Computing & Games Technology (MVG) programme, Janelle Pfeifer (M.Sc.) deals with the topic of "Pain simulation in games". Is it possible to make the gamer feel the pain of his or her own virtual avatar through externally added optical, acoustic and tactile stimuli without causing him or her real pain?
