30 years Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg

We are turning 30! Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg, founded in 1995 as part of the Bonn-Berlin equalisation agreement, has developed into an important institution for study, research and transfer over the past three decades and has become an integral part of the region's educational landscape. We are celebrating this milestone with various activities throughout the year.

The celebrations to mark the anniversary of Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg began with a reception at Rheinbach Campus on 18 February 2025. The central day of celebrations will follow on 9 May 2025: the festive event in the Audimax, a large research show and the AStA summer party will take place at Sankt Augustin Campus.

In addition to a look back at 30 years of university history, you will also learn what makes the university what it is today. Look forward to special stories about current projects, other anniversaries and interesting employees, students and alumni of the university.
