Erasmus scholar Ruken Ege from Turkey was a guest at the Department of Natural Sciences in September. The ERASMUS scholarship holder spent several weeks in Rheinbach in Professor Edda Tobiasch's stem cell research group.

Roman Grimmig- Doctorate for research in the field of water analysis
Roman Grimmig is a graduate of the Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences (H-BRS) and successfully defended his doctoral examination on 30.09.2024 with the topic ‘Characterisation of a PEM electrolyzer for ozone generation in ultrapure and drinking water applications’ at the University of Bonn. Collaborative Success in Computer Science: Chernihiv Polytechnic University and H-BRS Strengthen Ties through DAAD Internship Program
For the second time, Mariia Dorosh, professor of Software Engineering at Chernihiv Polytechnic National University (CPNU), is visiting the Department of Computer Science at Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg (H-BRS) as part of the DAAD internship program. From algorithm to virtual AI avatar - how generative AI and AR change teaching and learning spaces
As part of the scholarship programme for high- performing MINT students (‘MINT TANK’), the Hans Riegel Foundation organises a congress every two years with an exciting and interdisciplinary programme. On 21 September 2024, H-BRS researchers Daryoush Vaziri, David Golchinfar and Alexander Marquardt gave a workshop at this congress in Brühl near Cologne on the topic of ‘From algorithm to virtual AI avatar - how generative AI and augmented realities are changing teaching and learning spaces’.

PeP@H-BRS organises workshop at the FH-Personal strategy workshop
The PeP@H-BRS project took part in the third strategy workshop of the federal-state programme "UAS Personnel" on 12 and 13 September 2024. Sylvia Müller and Marlene Nunnendorf led a workshop on tandem programmes that support postdocs on the path to a UAS professorship. The project is led by Prof Dr Remi Maier-Rigaud.
