EMT study day: two farewells and a new dean for the department
On Monday, July 3, the newly elected dean, Professor Iris Groß, opened the 39th Study Day of the Department of Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Technical Journalism (EMT) in the auditorium of the Steyler Mission in Sankt Augustin. The agenda included a workshop on raising awareness in dealing with students after the corona pandemic, as well as two farewells.

Newly elected senate begins work
The employees of H-BRS have elected a new Senate. This took up its work with the constituent meeting on Thursday, June 29, 2023. In the process, the committee elected its future chairman and vice chair.

Wheeling It In: Final Presentation in the Design Thinking Seminar
At the final event of the Design Thinking seminar in the Sustainable Engineering Science course on June 21, everything revolved around the topic of bicycles. The students presented their prototypes developed during the summer semester. This year's cooperation partners were the city of Bonn and the association Radeln ohne Alter Bonn e.V., which provides senior citizens with free rickshaw rides.

Students design official video graphics of the university
Felix Reinhardt and Casimir Ruttka from the Visual Technical Communication programme have designed the new video graphics for the H-BRS. From now on, their works - intros, outros, dividers, lower thirds and openers - will be used in all of the university's video products.

TREE researchers in Tallinn: project consortium prepares launch of online platform EU-FarmBook
At its June meeting in Tallinn, Estonia, the EU-FarmBook project consortium decided to launch the digital platform in October 2023. H-BRS is part of the consortium, which consists of 29 organizations and research institutions from 18 EU countries, including TREE researchers Yasari and Seuser.
