Nachhaltig erfolgreich durch Ökobilanzierung - Praxisworkshop für KMU
Am 27. Februar veranstaltete die Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg einen Workshop zum Thema Ökobilanzierung für kleine und mittlere Unternehmen (KMU). Vertreter:innen regionaler KMU kamen zusammen, um sich über Treibhausgasemissionen und Unternehmensverantwortung auszutauschen. Der Workshop wurde von Mitarbeiterinnen des Internationalen Zentrums für Nachhaltige Entwicklung (IZNE) der H-BRS initiiert und organisiert, unterstützt vom Zentrum für Wissenschafts- und Technologietransfer (ZWT) der H-BRS.

H-BRS delegation strengthens international cooperation and exchange with partner university UTFPR in Brazil.
From February 19th to February 23rd, 2024, a seven-member delegation traveled to the partner university Federal University of Technology - Paraná (UTFPR) in Brazil. The delegation, consisting of professors, researchers, and administrative members, was led by Prof. Dr. Jürgen Bode, Vice President for Internationalization and Diversity. The purpose of the trip, which took place as part of the TOFI project, was to strengthen cooperation between the universities and explore new areas of collaboration and exchange.

Green oases in the city - optimal design equals optimal relaxation?
In a world where we are exposed to the hustle and bustle of everyday life, many of us long for a retreat in nature. But how can urban green spaces be designed most effectively to fulfill this longing? The results of a study by researchers from the Center for Development Research at the University of Bonn and the International Center for Sustainable Development at Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences offer valuable insights into how to improve urban park environments and show how they can reconcile the needs of humans and animals.
