Summer School Programme USA 2024
The joint summer school with the partner university Coastal Carolina University in the USA will take place from 20.7.24 to 10.8.24. Students of the Department of Management Sciences at Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences can apply to take part in the summer school until 15 January 2014.

Eleven students from the Department of Computer Science at H-BRS took part in the DOAG (Deutsche ORACLE-Anwendergruppe e. V.) 2023 conference in Nuremberg together with Prof. Dr Harm Knolle and took advantage of the student NextGen programme.

Katharina Walbrück - Doktortitel für Forschung an geopolymeren Dämmstoffen
On Wednesday, June 14, 2023, TREE scholar Dominik Wilde successfully defended his dissertation titled "High-Order Lattice Boltzmann Methods for Simulation of Compressible Flows" at the University of Siegen and was awarded the highest distinction (Summa cum Laude) for his doctoral degree.

Markus Loewe - New Honorary Professor
The Department of Social Policy and Social Security Studies has a new honorary professor. Dr. Markus Loewe is an expert on social security in low- and middle-income countries. At the German Institute of Development and Sustainability (IDOS) in Bonn, he researches the effects of social security systems in developing and emerging countries, and ways to improve them. As an honorary professor, Markus Loewe would like to further expand the cooperation between IDOS and H-BRS.

David Dreistadt - Mit Gas-to-Power Systemen zum Doktortitel
David Dreistadt ist Absolvent der Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg (H-BRS) und hat kürzlich seine Doktorprüfung mit dem Thema "Material- und Systementwicklung für die Integration von Metallhydrid basierten Wasserstoffspeichern in Gas-to-Power Systeme" erfolgreich abgelegt.
