The Institute for Artificial Intelligence and Autonomous Systems conducts cutting-edge, interdisciplinary research to enable the intelligence necessary for human-centered robot autonomy in dynamic environments. Towards this goal, we develop explainable, adaptable, and dependable autonomous systems that promote safety and trustworthiness by leveraging artificial intelligence research.
