Erster Drohnenflug über die Testfläche des EcoTwin Projekts
Das Projekt EcoTwin untersucht, wie wir Grünflächen erhalten und für die Zukunft optimieren. Diese Woche wurde unsere Testfläche an der Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg (H-BRS) anhand einer Drohne ausgemessen, ihre thermischen Daten erhoben sowie ein 3D Modell erstellt. Dabei sind beeindruckende Bilder entstanden.

Prof. Dr. Mandy Gieler-Großgarten begeistert bei ihrer Antrittsvorlesung
Am 8. Mai hat der Fachbereich Angewandte Naturwissenschaften im Rahmen seines Fachbereichskolloquiums zur Antrittsvorlesung von Prof. Dr. Mandy Gieler-Großgarten geladen. Ihrem Vortrag zum Thema "Zwischen Glorifizierung und Bashing – Sind Kunststoffe nachhaltige Materialien?“ lauschten die zahlreichen Gäste mit großem Interesse.

Ph.inally D.one! Die H-BRS gratuliert ihren frisch Promovierten
Sechs Nachwuchswissenschaftlerinnen und -wissenschaftler haben im Jahr 2024 ihre Promotion an der H-BRS abgeschlossen. Am 6. Mai gratulierten Hochschulpräsidentin Marion Halfmann, Johannes Steinhaus, Vizepräsident Forschung und Transfer, sowie das Team des Graduierteninstituts fünf von ihnen persönlich zu diesem Erfolg.
