Dienstag, 5. April 2022

The Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences has once again been recognised for its outstanding teaching in the field of auditing. In the Manager Magazin ranking, the H-BRS achieved seventh place nationwide in the category of universities of applied sciences. More than 80 auditing firms and over 1,200 of their clients took part in the biennial survey "Germany's Best Auditors". The university already achieved this ranking in 2020. Compared to the ranking at that time, it was even able to improve its score to "very good".

"We are very pleased that we are once again among the top ten universities of Applied Sciences, even under the conditions of the last four online semesters," said Professor Wilhelm Schneider, who holds the Chair of External Accounting and Corporate Taxation in Rheinbach. "We also warmly congratulate our long-standing cooperation partner, the Aachen University of Applied Sciences, on its second place," he added. In the project "Qua-Arc" (Quality in Accounting - Aachen Rheinbach Community), there has been an inter-chair cooperation between the H-BRS and the FH Aachen for several years, the aim of which is to perfectly prepare students for later professional practice.

With the seal Top University in the category University of Applied Sciences, the university now proves for another two years that it offers future auditors an excellent academic education.

With this ranking, Manager Magazin wants to give prospective students an orientation aid when choosing a university. The survey was conducted together with Dietmar Fink of the Wissenschaftliche Gesellschaft für Management und Beratung (WGMB). Fink is also Professor of Management Consulting and Development at the H-BRS.
