The world of the media is digital and mobile: Already today, many people inform themselves mainly via their smartphone. Social Media and video platforms like Youtube are used by young people as sources of information. Visual formats are gaining importance. Videos, photos, graphics and Virtual Reality (VR) will revolutionize communication beyond language barriers.
Visual formats are ideal for the presentation of technology. Both designing technology on a screen and conveying technology with animation and film is state of the art today. High-tec videos also appeal to viewers emotionally with captivating stories.
The degree programme Visual Technical Communication takes up these current developments. It’s the first programme of its kind in Germany. It is aimed at anyone who primarily wants to work with visual formats in technical journalism and in technical communication.
