Insights from Industry Experts: A Talk on Entrepreneurship, AI, and Pitching to Investors
On 19.12.2025 students of the BWL Business English classes in Rheinbach had the unique opportunity to attend an interactive online session with two distinguished experts: Jonothan Birkett, Program Lead at STARTAI Accelerator, and Samuel Atiye, a recent graduate with an MSc in Entrepreneurship & Innovation from the University of San Francisco. The talk was part of the class's hands-on simulation, where students are tasked with creating and managing sustainable fi ctitious companies.

Insights into assistive technologies: ZAT Rhein-Ruhr presents current research
On 3 December 2025, the Zentrum Assistive Technologien (ZAT) Rhein-Ruhr at H-BRS, together with the Institute for Artificial Intelligence and Autonomous Systems (A2S) and the Institute for Cyber Security & Privacy (ICSP), organised an exhibition that offered interested parties insights into current research work in the field of assistive technologies. The aim of the event was to present new developments, particularly in cognitive assistance systems, and to facilitate direct exchange between researchers, experts and the general public.
