Welcome to the page of the alumni network "H-BRS Alumni". More than 20.000 people have graduated from H-BRS. The alumni form a network with nodes regionally, nationally and internationally. The Alumni Office promotes the connection between alumni and the university. All those who have registered in the alumni network regularly learn about interesting research, events and cooperations and are invited to contribute their expertise to university life. In addition, there are events just for and with alumni.

Workshop Where (not) to publish - How to identify predatory publishers

The seminar will introduce you to techniques on how to identify dubious providers of journals and conferences. Within the course of this seminar participants will increase their sensitivity towards dubious offers. Moreover we will discuss what challenges are associated with Open Access publications.

The Department Council is the highest decision-making body of the Department of IWK and is responsible for all matters relating to the Department, unless another responsibility is expressly specified. The meetings of the Faculty Council are generally open to the public. An exception to this are agenda items relating to personnel decisions.
