"To be successful in life has always been a major goal.

Being an optimist and a positive thinker, and in order to fulfill my goal, I’ve always believed the essential pathway to obtain a job that I would love doing and not only to march into a passionate field. After graduating from high school in in Cameroon, I enrolled in a Higher Teachers Training College, where I obtained a professional diploma as a teacher in Mathematics, and Further Mathematics three years later.

Upon arrival in Germany, I enrolled into a German language course. When I began looking at universities, it was obvious that financially, the smart choice would be to attend a state university. In a search for my BSc. study, I applied for Applied Biology program offered at the Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences and was accepted, and graduated with a BSc degree in Applied Biology. This program has given me the opportunity to reach a significant goal. I have very fond memories of my time studying for my BSc in Applied Biology, as I was also the Tutor of Mathematics and General Chemistry during my 3rd to 5th semester. This was for me as a recap during my time as a High School teacher in Cameroon.

Even though with some challenges, I thoroughly enjoyed all the modules that were taught. Special thanks to all the Professors and Lecturers teaching all the courses for their friendly and very approachable gesture, which made it very easy to speak to them at all times. During my final year research project, I learned many techniques, which I was taught to carry out using excellent lab practice. The BSc in Applied Biology is an excellent program and I would highly recommend it to future and prospective students. Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University possess a good environment and atmosphere for studies and is known for its intercultural activities, and more to that very welcoming, and I would always welcome it being part of this University. I am currently a MSc. in Bionic/Biomimetics (interest in Biostatistics) at the University of Applied Sciences Rhein-Waal in Kleve, Germany".
