Blended Intensive Programme 2026

Transferable skills through projects – collaborating, observing, discussing

Students: During this project week, students will explore a range of exciting student-led projects, including a motorsport team, a smart factory, and a robotics lab. They will visit each project, talk to team members, and gain insights into how different disciplines work together. Students will then create a short presentation on one project, imagining they are explaining it to a group of school students. This hands-on task helps develop key transferable skills such as teamwork in interdisciplinary groups, communicating complex ideas clearly, and presenting with confidence.

Staff: Join us for an immersive project week where you will support and supervise students while gaining insight into our department’s project-based teaching model. Held three times a year, these project weeks showcase how interdisciplinary, hands-on learning develops transferable skills. Attending staff will have the opportunity to observe the structure in practice, exchange ideas with colleagues, and reflect on approaches that can be adapted to their own teaching.

Participation and registration

The Blended Intensive Programme will take place from November 30 to December 4 2026 at the Sankt Augustin campus of Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences. Prior to this, a compulsory online meeting will be held on 24 November. The registration deadline for the programme is 30 September 2026.

Once the registration period has ended, we will review all applications and contact applicants with further information and confirmation of participation.
