Publish in PDF
The most commonly used format for scientific online publications is PDF. This format ensures that the information reaches the reader in the form which the author intended. It's possible saving a document in PDF in most text-processing programs.
Please pay particular attention to the following advice when creating a PDF document to be published on the publications server:
- If possible, create your publication as a PDF/A. This format was especially developed for archiving and is particularly suitable for on-line publications.
- When creating a PDF, remember to define the file properties. You can enter information there on the author, title and topic, which will be used by search-engines for indexation.
- When creating a PDF for online publication, think about the personal information of yourself and others. Consider carefully whether you really want to publish your address online, or even your c.v..
