The work on a PhD project can be understood as a regular project and as such be supported by several project management techniques. The following partial project plans are introduced:

1. Project structure plan
2. Sequence plan
3. Schedule
4. Resource plan
5. Cost and financial plan
6. Quality plan
7. Risk plan
8. Organisation chart / reporting

Participants will be instructed individually in the development of one or more partial plans for their thesis as needed.
