Discover all the training courses offered by innovation2business.nrw - practical, compact and free of charge!

This webinar offers a brief, general introduction to the major kinds of intellectual property rights and compares them to one another. It then shifts focus to patents and the patenting process.
The requirements an invention must meet in order to be patented is regulated by law. Machines, compounds, and processes can be patented as long as they meet all necessary requirements, with the decisive criteria being novelty, inventive step, technicality, industrial applicability, and reproducibility.

This webinar introduces attendees to these basic requirements of patentability along with the limits of patent protection. It also discusses the basics of the patent application process and how a patent is structured.
