Africa Conference 2016 at H-BRS

On Thursday and Friday, 10 - 11 November 2016, the Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences will be hosting the third "Universities, Entrepreneurship and Enterprise Development in Africa" conference on its Sankt Augustin Campus.

The event provides what is in Germany a unique platform for the exchange of knowledge and information between companies and universities from Germany and Africa, as well as for interaction between companies among themselves. Core subjects include entrepreneurship and SMEs in Africa, market entry in Africa, commercial relations between Germany and Africa, plus further education and the development of qualified human resources. In particular the opportunity of utilising existing business networks plays a role.

The conference is part of the "German-African University Partnership Platform for the Development of Entrepreneurship and SMEs" project, which is funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University and the Universities of Cape Coast in Ghana and Nairobi in Kenya are the project partners.
