Project Entrepreneurship in Africa

Teaching for Development - Entrepreneurship and Sustainable Economic Development in Africa

"Africa could be on the brink of an economic takeoff, much like China was 30 years ago, and India 20 years ago"

The World Bank

"After several decades of insufficient economic growth, Africa is now following the footsteps of the world’s fastest emerging economies. Business in Africa today is no longer an oxymoron, but one of the most exciting economic prospects in the world. Interest in the continent has been increasing from year to year and with good reason. Ghana, in particular, has experienced rapid positive change over the last years. It has become home to a permanently increasing number of motivated entrepreneurs, which is bolstered by the population’s growing enthusiasm for technology. The vision of the partnership between University of Cape Coast and Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences is to foster an entrepreneurial spirit among students, faculty, and the respective corporate networks on both continents, as well as an awareness for the opportunities of each other’s markets."  - Prof. Dr. Jürgen Bode
